Dunstane House Hotel originally started life as a private home in the
nineteenth century. We try to retain that family feel for our guests
today. Our sixteen rooms are designed in restful tones to put you
instantly at ease, with lots of in-room facilities to help you feel
right at home. All the comfort and elegance of a Scottish country house
but in a hotel with Edinburgh's city centre reassuringly close by.

The hotel's restaurant, The Skerries, brings a flavour of our own
original home of Orkney to Edinburgh, as well as the freshest seafood
and fish, finest Scottish meats and seasonal game. The Stane's Whisky
Bar allows guests to sample the best of the distilleries of Scotland
from the comfort of an armchair or grab a satisfying bite to eat.

Dunstane City Hotel, the newest addition to Dunstane Hotels, sits on the
opposite side of the road from Dunstane House, adding an extra eighteen
bedrooms to Dunstane's capacity. The location may be close, but the look
is far removed from Dunstane's country house feel. Expect a smart
boutique chic hotel but at a pocket-pleasing price. Great for business,
even better for pleasure.

Guests at the hotel can take advantage of City's proximity to its sister
hotel, Dunstane House's Skerries Restaurant and Stane Bar. Dunstane City
has its own bar with a range of malt whiskies, as well as a garden
conservatory, where you can relax over a coffee with a good book or the
day's papers. The City Breakfast offers a lighter start to the day with
juices, pastries, croissants, morning rolls, cereals, yoghurts and meat,
cheese and fruit platters. Or indulge yourself with our tasty porridge
followed by a full Scottish breakfast. All served with a selection of
fine, herbal and fruit teas and coffee.
