Dunstane House Hotel originally started life as a private home in the nineteenth century. We try to retain that family feel for our guests today. Our sixteen rooms are designed in restful tones to put you instantly at ease, with lots of in-room facilities to help you feel right at home. All the comfort and elegance of a Scottish country house but with Edinburgh's city centre reassuringly close by.
The hotel's restaurant, The Skerries, brings a flavour of our own original home of Orkney to Edinburgh, as well as the freshest seafood and fish, finest Scottish meats and seasonal game. The Stanes Whisky Bar allows guests to sample the best of the distilleries of Scotland from the comfort of an armchair or grab a satisfying bite to eat.
