The Ceremony
Dunstane House has been approved for both Church of Scotland wedding and civil ceremonies.
The hotel offers several options for ceremonies of different sizes:
The Library - accommodates up to 46 guests
The Oak Room - accommodates up to 40 guests.
The Drinks Reception
Drinks after the ceremony can be served in the Front Hall, The Stane Bar or The Library. Weather permitting, drinks can be served in our front garden
The Wedding Breakfast
The Skerries Dining Room is ideal as a Wedding Breakfast room for larger parties of up to 46 guests. With its high ceilings, large bay window, and ornate décor, it provides the perfect setting for that very important meal.
The Library offers the same level of exquisite décor and suits a more intimate Wedding Breakfast for up to 26 guests.
The Oak Room is an elegant choice of room for up to 22 guests.
The Menu
Dunstane House has a well-earned reputation for fine cuisine. Much of the produce we use is sourced from the Orkney Islands. Couples can select their preferred menu from an extensive Menu Selector which appeals to a variety of tastes and budgets. Our Head Chef is only too happy to discuss any requests or special requirements you may have.

Evening Entertainment and Evening Buffet
Evening Receptions for up to 100 guests can be held in The Stane Lounge Bar, Library and Oak Room. Rooms can be laid out with occasional tables and provide ample space for dancing the night away.
An Evening Buffet can be served either in The Oak Room or in The Library. Our online Sample Buffet Menu provides more details of what is included.

You can arrange an appointment in advance with our Events Manager by calling 0131 337 6169 or by email. Our Events Manager will then be happy to show you round the hotel and go over your plans with you in person.
